Job Description:
B2B Demand Generation & Business Development Executive
Location: Remote / Box House, Near Bath
Working: Hybrid / Remote – flexibility available for the right person
Company: CEC Marketing
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £30,000–£35,000 per year + uncapped commission
The Role:
This is not a junior or entry-level position. We are looking for someone who is confident speaking with senior business decision-makers and has experience following up marketing-generated leads, qualifying interest and progressing conversations into genuine sales opportunities. You will work across campaigns for technology clients, engaging prospects who have interacted with our marketing activity through webinars, events, content, digital campaigns, demos and other demand generation programmes. Your role is to take that initial engagement further - understanding the prospect's business challenges, identifying projects and requirements, establishing timelines and progressing qualified opportunities for our clients' sales teams. Experience within SAP, ERP, finance software, enterprise technology or a similar B2B technology environment would be highly advantageous.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
