We're recruiting for a Commercial Executive to join an established events business, helping to grow a portfolio of exhibitions through exhibition stand sales, sponsorship opportunities, and digital products. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a sales environment and wants to develop their commercial career with plenty of support and progression.
The Role
As a Commercial Executive, you'll play a key role in generating new business, developing existing accounts, and delivering outstanding service to exhibitors and sponsors throughout the event cycle. You'll manage the full sales process, from identifying opportunities and making outbound calls through to negotiating agreements and securing repeat business.
Key Responsibilities
- Sell exhibition stands, sponsorship packages, and digital advertising opportunities.
- Identify and secure new business while growing existing client relationships.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to closing deals.
- Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline with accurate forecasting.
- Develop tailored commercial packages to meet client objectives.
- Build long-term relationships with exhibitors, sponsors, and key stakeholders.
- Deliver excellent customer service before, during, and after each event.
- Attend exhibitions to support clients and encourage re-bookings for future events.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and commercial documentation.
- Achieve individual sales targets and commercial KPIs.

About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys speaking with people, is commercially minded, and is motivated by achieving results. You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in sales, business development, customer service, hospitality, retail, recruitment, telesales, or another customer-facing environment.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Confidence making outbound calls and developing new business opportunities.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive approach and a genuine interest in developing a career in sales.
- Experience within exhibitions or events would be beneficial but isn't essential—full product training will be provided.

Performance Expectations
- Make a minimum of 40 outbound sales calls per day.
- Maintain approximately 90 minutes of active sales conversations daily.
- Achieve agreed monthly revenue targets.
- Keep sales forecasts, CRM records, and pipeline activity accurate and up to date.
