Description
🚀 Help Us Deliver Brilliant Events
Events are a key part of how Sensat builds relationships, meets prospective customers and creates commercial opportunities. With a busy UK and US events calendar ahead, we are looking for a highly experienced, hands-on B2B Events Manager to join us on a three-to-six-month fixed-term contract.
This is an event-delivery role first and foremost. You will take ownership of planning and delivering business events from end to end, making sure every logistical detail, supplier, schedule, team member and follow-up action is in place.
🛠️ What you'll be doing
- Own the planning and delivery of Sensat’s events across the UK and US, from initial planning through to post-event evaluation.
- Manage event logistics end to end, including venues, contracts, suppliers, production, travel, accommodation, shipping, schedules, event materials and attendee experience.
- Build and manage detailed event plans, timelines, run sheets and onsite checklists.
- Brief internal teams thoroughly so everyone understands their role, schedule, messaging and responsibilities.
- Be the operational lead onsite, resolving issues calmly and keeping each event running smoothly.
- Work closely with Marketing on event messaging, content, promotion and supporting campaign activity.
- Partner with Sales to ensure lead capture is effective and follow-up is timely and well organised.
- Track event performance, report on results and capture practical recommendations for future events.
- Manage changing priorities, budgets and multiple events at different stages of delivery.
💭 You might be the kind of person we’re looking for if...
You are an experienced events professional who has personally delivered B2B events from start to finish. You are practical, calm under pressure and enjoy owning the detail that turns an event plan into a great experience.
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

🎯 What you’ll bring
- Proven experience owning and delivering B2B events end to end, not simply supporting events as part of a broader marketing role.
- Strong experience managing venues, suppliers, contracts, event logistics, travel, schedules and onsite delivery.
- Experience producing detailed event plans, run sheets and team briefings.
- Confidence managing multiple deadlines and changing priorities with minimal direction.
- Experience managing event budgets and making sensible decisions on cost and quality.
- A clear understanding of lead capture, sales handover and post-event follow-up.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal teams, senior stakeholders and external suppliers.
- You have a builder’s mindset: proactive, resourceful, and comfortable taking ownership, able to spot opportunities, bring forward practical solutions, and turn plans into action with good judgement and in a fast paced environment.
- Experience in B2B SaaS, technology or a similar commercial environment.
🤝 Why Sensat?
