About PubNub

At PubNub, we power real-time experiences used by millions of people around the world. Our platform enables businesses to build real-time applications through developer-friendly APIs and real-time infrastructure.

PubNub powers the world's most engaging real-time experiences including chat, live updates, and interactive applications—for more than 2,000 companies, including Verizon, Autodesk, Zillow, and Dropbox. Our global data network processes trillions of messages each month with sub-100 ms latency across 15+ data centers. Backed by $130M in funding, we're shaping the future of how the world connects.

About the Role

As our B2B Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you'll own customer lifecycle marketing across onboarding, product adoption, engagement, retention, expansion, and win-back.

You'll use product usage, customer behaviour, and account signals to identify opportunities to deepen adoption, expand usage, and reduce churn, then turn those insights into scalable lifecycle programmes. These programmes may span product-led experiences, customer education, targeted campaigns, Account Manager plays, and marketing automation.

Because PubNub is a real-time infrastructure platform, customer growth is closely connected to how customers build with and use the product. You'll work closely with Account Management, Customer Success, and our Go-to-Market Engineering team to understand customer use cases, identify meaningful adoption and expansion signals, and create programmes that help customers realise more value from PubNub while improving retention and Net Revenue Retention (NRR).

Key Responsibilities

  • Build post-sale customer lifecycle programmes across onboarding, adoption, engagement, expansion, retention, and win-back, using the right intervention for the customer need and stage.
  • Use customer use cases, industry context, and product-usage patterns to identify opportunities to deepen or broaden platform adoption.
  • Design platform expansion and feature-adoption programmes based on customer needs, product usage, and unused capabilities.
  • Partner with our Go-to-Market Engineering (GTME) team on customer health scoring and expansion-signal detection.
  • Use product usage, engagement, and customer-health signals to identify expansion and retention opportunities.
  • Develop creative lifecycle interventions across customer education, product and feature discovery, value communication, Account Manager plays, targeted campaigns, and marketing automation.
  • Create ROI reports and value summaries that Account Managers can use in customer conversations.
  • Execute multi-team penetration and expansion programmes within existing enterprise accounts.
  • Build win-back and re-engagement programmes for quiet or at-risk customers.
  • Analyse churn trends and turn customer insights into retention programmes.
  • Partner closely with Customer Success and Account Managers on adoption, retention, and expansion initiatives.
  • Measure programme impact and continuously optimise targeting, interventions, and results.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
