The Role
We're looking for a B2B Marketing Manager to join us on a 13-month maternity cover contract, working across The MJ, LocalGov and our Future Forums events. You'll report to the Senior Marketing Manager and take ownership of subscriptions, lead generation and event marketing campaigns across the portfolio.

What You'll Be Doing
- Running subscription campaigns for The MJ: acquisition, lapsed win-back, retention and engagement
- Managing a customer-service led corporate subscription renewal process for The MJ
- Driving newsletter acquisition and lead generation campaigns for The MJ and LocalGov
- Owning the event marketing for our Future Forums (two in-person events a year): email and telemarketing delegate acquisition, onboarding, social media, website updates and post-event surveys
- Producing design assets in Canva for in-house digital ads for all MJ and LocalGov products, print and forum materials
- Leveraging HubSpot for your marketing needs from email, social, forms, landing pages, segmentation, reporting and workflow automation

What You'll Bring
- At least 4 years' experience in B2B marketing, with a background in subscriptions and events
- Proven experience running acquisition, retention and lapsed/win-back campaigns
- Hands-on HubSpot experience across email, forms, landing pages, workflows and reporting preferable
- Confident design skills in Canva, comfortable producing both digital and print work
- A team player who takes initiative, makes decisions and stays open-minded

- Salary: £40,000
- Contract: 13-month maternity cover
- Location: London, hybrid (2 days a week in the office)
- Start date: 30 November 2026
- Reports to: Senior Marketing Manager
