π Hertford / Hybrid - 3 days in the office, 2 days WFH
π· Β£35,000+ basic salary + UNCAPPED commission

Are you an experienced B2B media salesperson looking for a role where you can sell across print, digital and events rather than being tied to a single product?
Do you enjoy winning new business, growing existing accounts and creating commercial solutions that deliver value for your clients?

We're working with an established specialist B2B media and events business serving professional audiences across hospitality, hotel design, interiors and related sectors.
π° WHAT WILL YOU BE SELLING?
You'll have a broad portfolio of commercial opportunities, including:
- Print advertising across established industry publications
- Digital advertising and content
- Event sponsorship and partnerships
- Commercial partnerships
- Integrated campaigns combining print + digital + events
The role is about more than selling individual products. You'll work with clients to understand their objectives and build commercial packages that make sense for their business.

You'll have genuine ownership of your clients, pipeline and revenue.

- Winning new business through proactive prospecting and outreach
- Building relationships with senior commercial decision-makers
- Growing and developing existing accounts
- Upselling and cross-selling across print, digital and events
- Presenting tailored commercial proposals
- Negotiating and closing deals
- Selling event sponsorship and partnerships
- Managing your CRM, pipeline and forecasts
- Working towards and exceeding revenue targets
You'll have the freedom to develop your own opportunities while working as part of a small, collaborative commercial team.
π₯ WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We're looking for someone with proven B2B media, publishing or advertising sales experience.
Your background could include:
- B2B media sales
- Publishing / magazine sales
- Advertising sales
- Digital media sales
- Sponsorship / event sales
- Commercial partnerships
Print advertising experience is strongly preferred.
You should be comfortable with both new business and account development, and confident taking a deal from prospecting through to negotiation and close.
We're looking for someone who is:
- Confident prospecting and making outbound calls
- Comfortable selling to senior decision-makers
- Strong at building long-term commercial relationships
- Good at consultative selling and presenting solutions
- Confident negotiating and closing
- Comfortable managing multiple revenue streams
- Organised and able to manage their own pipeline
- Commercially focused and motivated by targets
