B2B Outbound Sales Representative
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a B2B Outbound Sales Representative based in United Kingdom.
This is a fully remote B2B sales role focused on generating new business with U.S.-based companies through proactive outbound prospecting.
You will own an assigned industry vertical, research its market, identify decision makers, build your own prospect lists, and develop messaging that converts.
Your work will span cold calling, email, SMS, LinkedIn outreach, discovery calls, objection handling, and full-cycle sales.
You will have significant autonomy to test new approaches, improve your sales process, and turn market insights into better conversion rates.
The role is highly measurable, with clear activity targets, funnel KPIs, pipeline expectations, and revenue goals.
You will also be expected to use AI and automation tools to reduce administrative work and continuously improve your prospecting engine.
This is an ideal environment for a self-directed B2B hunter who enjoys building pipelines from scratch and is motivated by uncapped performance-based earnings.
Accountabilities
- Take full ownership of an assigned U.S. market vertical, developing a strong understanding of its businesses, decision makers, operational challenges, buying triggers, and potential demand for remote staffing solutions.
- Research and build targeted prospect lists independently rather than relying on pre-qualified account lists.
- Identify and segment new prospects, enriching each lead with relevant company and contact information before adding it to the CRM.
- Execute structured outbound campaigns across phone, email, SMS, and LinkedIn using a consistent 14-day multi-channel cadence.
- Maintain the required daily activity level, including approximately 80 dials, 40 cadence emails, 12 SMS messages, 10 LinkedIn touches, and 20 newly enriched and segmented leads.
- Complete every scheduled cadence touch without skipping steps or allowing prospects to fall through the cracks.
- Book qualified 30-minute discovery calls with business owners and decision makers, focusing on understanding their operational needs, challenges, and potential fit.
- Manage the sales process beyond the initial discovery call, handling objections, discussing pricing honestly, creating clear next steps, and working toward signed contracts.
- Maintain a healthy and accurate sales pipeline, with every opportunity logged promptly and every record containing a specific next action and date.
- Track measurable funnel performance, including conversations, discovery calls, show rates, opportunities, conversions, and signed contracts.
- Use performance data and insights from recent calls to continuously refine messaging, openers, targeting, and outreach strategies.
- Build and improve lead-generation systems for the assigned vertical, identifying ways to increase prospecting efficiency and pipeline quality.
- Create or optimize workflow automations that reduce repetitive research, preparation, CRM updates, and follow-up tasks.
- Use AI tools regularly to accelerate research, prospect preparation, personalization, analysis, and follow-up.
- Work toward ambitious performance milestones, including 20 meaningful decision-maker conversations and 5 discovery calls booked per week, with a target show rate of 70%.
- Build the foundations of a repeatable vertical sales funnel within the first 90 days, including lead generation, CRM tracking, funnel visibility, and at least five process automations.
- Achieve an initial target of 6 new contracts during the first 90 days, followed by a sustained target of 4+ new contracts per month.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
