What does a B2B Product Marketing Leader do at Busuu?
We win in mid-market today. Deals reach us from both directions, SMB customers growing into us, and enterprise accounts landing small, as a pilot or a single team. Our enterprise business is nascent, and building it properly is one of the biggest opportunities we have.
This role owns the commercial thinking that makes that work: who we target and why, how we package and price so a small landing has a real path to becoming a large account, how we position against the alternatives, and what our sales team needs to win in the field. You'll need to understand how enterprise buyers evaluate, decide and get internal sign-off — because you'll be building that motion with us, not operating one that already exists.
It's a senior mandate with real decision authority, held by one person to start with. You'll be our first dedicated B2B product marketer, you'll own the function, and you'll shape what it becomes as the business grows into it.
What You'll Own
- Who we sell to, and which bets we make. Own ICP definition and segmentation for B2B across both of our motions, the mid-market business we win in today and the enterprise business we're building. Define which segments and which buyers Busuu commits to in B2B, and the commercial case for each. Growth & Product Strategy owns whether the engine converts into the markets you choose; you own the choice.
- How we price and package. Own pricing direction and packaging structure, grounded in how buying groups actually approve spend, who holds budget, what procurement will sign, what the economic buyer benchmarks against. This includes the commercial question that matters most to us: how a small mid-market landing becomes a large account. You define the model; Growth & Product Strategy translates it into the product requirements that make it deliverable.
- How we're positioned, and what we say. Own the value proposition and the reason a buyer chooses us over the alternatives or over doing nothing. Author the B2B message architecture, segment and buying-group specific, as the B2B expression of Busuu's cross-segment messaging framework.
- How enterprise buyers decide. Build the map of how champions, economic buyers, procurement, legal and security each evaluate and approve a deal, and what each needs to believe. This capability doesn't exist at Busuu today. You'll be creating it as the enterprise motion forms.
- The market and win-loss read. You have direct access to continuous B2B market intelligence, generated by Growth & Product Strategy, and the authority to act on it for ICP, positioning and pricing without it being filtered. You own the interpretation of why enterprise deals are actually won and lost; Growth & Product Strategy convenes the reviews and holds the relationships and deal history that make them possible.
- What sales needs to win. Own the enablement framework: what equips the team at each stage of an enterprise deal and how it's structured. Field coaching and delivery sit with sales leadership. You define messaging and positioning.
- Taking it to market. Own launch architecture and sequencing for B2B, and the rollout of packaging changes into the field.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
How You'll Work
You report to the VP of GTM Strategy & Growth, and be our first dedicated B2B Product Marketer. You own the function, the standards, what it does, what it stops doing, and the case for what it needs next.
Your closest partners:
- Busuu for Business Lead: owns B2B pipeline, new business and customer success. Brings you deal outcomes and field reality; you equip those teams to win.
- B2B Marketing Lead: owns B2B demand generation and campaign execution, working from the positioning and messaging you define.
- B2B Growth & Strategy head: owns growth mechanics for B2B. Whether the bets we've made are converting and expanding, market-entry sequencing, and the monetization levers inside the model you define. Generates continuous B2B market intelligence and convenes in the field of relationships across CS and new business.
- Product Marketing head: owns Busuu's cross-segment messaging framework across B2C and B2B. You author the B2B expression of it directly, and this role holds accountability for the story staying coherent across segments.
- Product and Technology: you define what the commercial model requires; they are the team building it.
What You Bring
- Senior B2B product marketing experience, ideally in SaaS, EdTech or a comparable subscription business, deep enough to operate from muscle memory on ICP, positioning and buying group dynamics from day one.
- Enterprise commercial depth. You understand how large organisations evaluate, approve and buy, and you've made pricing and packaging decisions grounded in how buying groups actually approve spending.
- Experience of both motions, enterprise high-touch and mid-market medium-to-low-touch.
- You've built where it didn't exist. You're joining a motion that's forming, not inheriting one that works, and that prospect energizes you rather than frustrating you.
- Comfortable being the first and only person in the function, owning the outcome without a team behind you, and making the case for that team when the business has earned it.
- AI fluency as a multiplier on your own output, not a requirement to build engineering-grade automation.
- Additional European languages are a plus.
