The Role

Referment is working with… an early-stage B2B fintech business developing software that helps companies manage receivables, collections, payments and reconciliation more effectively. The product brings traditionally fragmented cash-management activity into one platform for finance teams.

The business is looking for a hands-on marketing leader to build its demand-generation capability and create a repeatable engine for acquisition, conversion and customer growth. This is a broad role spanning strategy, experimentation, analytics, content and team leadership, with close collaboration across leadership, product and engineering.

  • Build and lead a marketing team delivering multi-channel growth, demand-generation and lifecycle programmes.
  • Own marketing performance across self-service acquisition, the sales funnel, customer growth and retention.
  • Use data to develop, test and optimise messaging, content, design and campaigns across digital customer and prospect journeys.
  • Work with leadership, product and engineering to improve online communication channels and align marketing activity with the product experience.
  • Develop the marketing technology, analytics and measurement capability needed to support better growth decisions.
  • Identify new acquisition channels, audiences and verticals, then turn successful experiments into repeatable programmes.
  • Develop useful content for prospective and existing users across formats such as articles, webinars and reports.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
