Salary/package: £25,948.96 to £29,000 per annum DOE plus uncapped commission (OTE £40,000+)
Contract type: Permanent
Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week
About the Role
Lumina Energy are looking for a dedicated individual to join their growing sales team as a B2B Sales Consultant and play a key role in generating new business and expanding our customer portfolio.
This role would suit a confident, ambitious and target-driven individual who enjoys building relationships and wants to develop a long-term career in B2B sales.

Lumina Energy, part of Commercial Services Group (CSG) is a UK-based energy consultancy founded in 2012. The company specialises in helping businesses manage their energy needs by offering services like energy procurement, usage data management and carbon reduction planning. They are particularly focused on assisting companies in becoming more energy-efficient, reducing costs and working towards sustainability goals.

The successful candidate will take ownership of their own pipeline and earning potential through uncapped commission and play a key role in driving new business growth, ensuring Lumina Energy continues to build a strong and sustainable customer portfolio.
What you’ll be doing
- Generating new business opportunities through outbound calls, LinkedIn, networking and customer referrals.
- Making 80+ proactive outbound calls each day to engage prospective customers and identify opportunities.
- Building and managing your sales pipeline from initial prospecting through to contract completion.
- Understanding customer requirements and recommending appropriate energy procurement solutions.
- Preparing tailored quotations and commercial proposals using CRM systems and supplier information.
- Converting quotations into contracted business through effective questioning, negotiation and closing.
- Managing sales opportunities and completing follow-up activity in a timely manner.
- Working closely with internal teams to develop solutions for larger or more complex customer requirements.
- Building long-term customer relationships to support retention, renewals, referrals and further sales.
- Maintaining accurate CRM records, activity information and pipeline forecasts.
- Keeping informed about energy market developments to support credible customer conversations.

What we’re looking for
- Experience in B2B sales, telesales, business development or account acquisition would be beneficial but is not essential.
- A confident and professional telephone manner.
- Strong verbal communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to understand customer needs and identify commercial opportunities.
- Strong questioning, negotiation and closing skills.
- A self-motivated and resilient approach to achieving targets.
- Good organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to the wider team.
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and working towards individual targets would be beneficial.
- Experience within the energy industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
