Role Overview

Do you excel in generating leads and building strong B2B relationships? As a Sales Development Specialist at GCL, you will play a critical role in our outsourced services team by combining traditional outbound telemarketing with modern sales development techniques. Your primary responsibility will be to identify potential business clients, engage them through various communication channels, and set the stage for our clients’ sales teams to close deals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calls and emails to generate interest in our clients’ products and services among potential B2B clients.
  • Qualify leads by understanding their business needs, challenges, and decision-making processes.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with prospective clients to facilitate sales opportunities.
  • Schedule appointments and meetings for our clients’ sales teams with qualified leads.
  • Accurately document and track all sales activities in our CRM system, providing regular updates and insights to clients.
  • Collaborate with our internal teams to develop strategies for effective lead generation and conversion.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and provide feedback to refine our sales processes and approaches.

  • Proven experience in outbound telemarketing, sales development, or a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and persuade potential clients.
  • Ability to understand and articulate the value of our clients’ offerings effectively.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to adapt to diverse industries and client requirements.
