I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This will not be a traditional sales role where you inherit a process and simply work through a pipeline. You will need to build it. This is a brand new role with infinite opportunity that for the right person will be a rocket ship!
As B2B Sales Executive you will take ownership of their growing B2B recovery-space channel: converting inbound opportunities, developing relationships, pitching the brand, closing deals and ultimately building a repeatable sales engine that can become a significant part of the business.
There are already leads coming in. Your job will be to turn them into revenue and then find more.
You will need to be commercially hungry, brilliant with people and relentless about getting things over the line.
This role will require someone to own their own sales pipeline, forecasting and reporting, whilst working closely with the wider team to ensure a brilliant experience from initial enquiry through to installation and identify opportunities to grow existing accounts.
