Senior Conference Producer – Global B2B Events Portfolio
London & Guildford (international travel required)
Full-time | £50,000–£60,000
Reports to: Heads of Department
Direct report: One Conference Producer
A fast‑growing international events organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Conference Producer to take strategic and day‑to‑day ownership of content across a multi‑market B2B conference portfolio. This role combines editorial leadership, deep market research, senior‑level speaker engagement and on‑site delivery across several global editions. You’ll shape the direction of each programme, lead research and speaker recruitment, manage a producer, and work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑impact content that drives audience engagement and supports commercial growth.
Key Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Programme Development
- Own the content strategy for multiple international editions, from initial research through to final agenda build.
- Conduct research interviews with delegates, sponsors, exhibitors, and industry experts.
- Develop keynotes, panels, technical sessions, workshops, and innovative formats that differentiate the programme.
- Use audience insight, event performance data, and market intelligence to refine content and identify new opportunities.

Speaker & Stakeholder Management
- Identify, recruit, and secure senior industry leaders across global markets.
- Build and maintain a strong international speaker network.
- Manage speaker briefings, communications, and deadlines, supported by a Speaker Liaison Executive.
- Collaborate with advisory boards, partners, and strategic stakeholders.
Delivery & Project Management
- Lead content and speaker delivery across multiple editions with competing timelines.
- Own production schedules, trackers, and content plans, coordinating internal teams throughout the event lifecycle.
- Act as senior on‑site lead for speakers, sponsors, and key stakeholders.
- Conduct post‑event analysis to drive continuous improvement.
Commercial Contribution
- Partner with Sales and Sponsorship to ensure content supports revenue goals while maintaining editorial integrity.
- Manage sponsored sessions and develop partner content that adds genuine value.
- Contribute market insight and content ideas to wider portfolio strategy.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Manage and develop one Conference Producer, improving editorial judgement and delivery capability.
- Establish consistent production processes, timelines, and quality standards across the portfolio.
- Work closely with Marketing, Content, Sales, Sponsorship, and Operations to ensure alignment and timely communication.

About You
- Experienced B2B conference professional with strong editorial judgement, commercial awareness, and confidence engaging senior stakeholders across international markets.
- Significant experience as a Conference Producer or Senior Conference Producer in B2B events.
- Proven ability to develop research‑led programmes and secure senior speakers.
- Excellent research, interviewing, and communication skills.
- Strong project management capability across multiple events.
- Comfortable working with senior industry figures, sponsors, and advisory boards.
- Experience mentoring or managing a producer or content professional.
- Ability to establish effective processes and maintain high standards.
- Willingness to travel internationally for multiple editions.
Desirable:
- Experience producing large‑scale conferences or exhibitions.
- Experience working across international markets.
- Experience managing sponsored content.
- Background in events, media, publishing, or information services.
