ABOUT THE TEAM

Nectar360 sits at the heart of Sainsbury's loyalty, data, insights and retail media offering. As our ambition as a strategic media owner grows, the B2B Marketing team plays an important part in showing brand, agency and industry audiences what makes our proposition distinctive. You will join a collaborative, fast-moving environment where strong ideas, customer understanding and commercial impact are turned into content that earns attention and builds authority.

MORE ABOUT THE ROLE

As B2B Marketing Executive - Content, you will help develop and deliver our content programme across thought leadership, organic social, editorial, video, case studies, awards, events and sales enablement. You will find the strongest stories across Nectar360, identify the clearest angle and translate complex topics into engaging content for external and internal audiences.

This is a hands-on role with space to bring your own ideas. You will create content for LinkedIn, our website, blogs, newsletters and other owned channels; maintain a calendar around Nectar360's key moments and wider industry opportunities; support webinars, client events, insight reviews and award submissions; and make sure everything is accurate, timely and aligned to our brand and tone of voice. You will work closely with colleagues across Marketing, Commercial, Planning, Client Services, Product and Insights, as well as creative, social, PR, events and production partners. You will also own the day-to-day relationship with our social media agency and use performance data, competitor activity and industry trends to improve our approach.

MORE ABOUT YOU

You will bring practical B2B marketing and content experience, with evidence of creating work that is clear, relevant and designed for a defined audience. You know how to take content from an initial brief and research through drafting, feedback, approval, publication and performance review. You understand how LinkedIn works for B2B audiences and can use analytics, keywords and hashtags to improve discoverability and results.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You will be comfortable managing several stakeholders and priorities while maintaining high editorial standards. Strong copywriting, attention to detail and storytelling skills are important, alongside the judgement to challenge a brief, find a sharper angle and experiment with new formats. Experience within advertising or media, briefing agencies, supporting awards or thought leadership, or using tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud would be useful but is not essential.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

  • Demonstrable experience creating and delivering B2B content strategies across social and digital channels.
  • Experience managing LinkedIn content, including planning, publishing and using performance data to optimise activity.
  • Experience taking content from brief and research through drafting, stakeholder approval, publication and performance review.
  • Evidence of producing clear copy and storytelling for defined B2B audiences across formats such as social posts, web copy, blogs, case studies or thought leadership.
  • Practical experience using Microsoft Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, Excel and PowerPoint to coordinate work, collaborate and report outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We’d all like amazing work to do, and real work-life balance. That’s waiting for you at Sainsbury’s. Everything our Nectar team does is powered by data and by strong relationships with some of the UK’s favourite brands. The Nectar360 team develops loyalty programmes, turning insight into something that makes a real difference, across both traditional and digital media. It’s like an agency within a retailer, and retail media is a crucial part of our future. The culture might not be what you expect either, because there’s no setup quite like this one. The team is a real priority, connected to almost everything the business does and playing a key role in driving profitability. It’s a place where you can take risks, learn from them, and be recognised.
