B2B & SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

Maki Nori and Maki & Ramen | London | £36-40,000 + £24k Potential Bonus | Full Time 45 Hour Contract

The role at a glance

  • Reports to: Marketing Director
  • You own: Maki Nori's social channels, and the Maki & Ramen event programme
  • You support: UK-wide partnership activity and the wider Maki & Ramen content team
  • Split: Roughly 30% B2B Partnerships, 70% Maki Nori social. This will flex week to week around the event diary
  • Base: London. Our branches in London [our head office is based in Edinburgh so you would be working hybrid, allowing working from home, from cafes and mainly - the branches]
  • Hours: 45 hours per week, including regular late nights on event days and some weekend social media maintenance

Maki Nori is a fast-growing London sushi concept and sister brand to Maki & Ramen, one of the UK's most exciting Japanese restaurant groups. We're bold, social-first, and focused on building genuine community around great food.

The role

This role is a dual role of B2B and Social Media Management. In addition to what is below, you would be working closely with our Content Manager at Maki & Ramen, being faces of the 2 brands.

Maki Nori Social Media Manager [70% of the time]

  • Content Creation [we post once a day on IG and Tik Tok so this output is high]
  • Influencer Management [sourcing and booking into existing structure]
  • Editing Content & Scheduling
  • Social Media Maintenance [replying to messages, comments and ensuring the Linktree is set up correctly]
  • Reporting on overall social media performance
  • Ownership over partnerships, wider company goals and working closely with the Marketing Director on brand direction

Maki & Ramen B2B Manager [30% of the time]

  • Outreaching to clients to show our restaurants across the UK for event spaces
  • Harnessing relationships with corporate clients to drive revenue and footfall to our branches
  • Measured on revenue brought into the business and amount of corporate bookings per month
  • Reporting weekly on each partnership, revenue brought in, budget managed and covers to site
  • Assisting with events planning on new Maki & Ramen branch openings, focusing on the Southern Evenings

How we'll measure the role

  • Tailored Social Media Metrics
  • Revenue and Covers in Maki Nori based on social media presence
  • Revenue across the Maki & Ramen group: Allocated to B2B Partnerships brought in
  • Covers per site per month: Allocated to B2B Partnerships brought in
  • Amount of partnerships gained week on week

What we're looking for

Essential

  • Two to five years' experience in events, social media, or a combined role
  • Confident with short-form video content and what performs on TikTok and Instagram Reels
  • Organised enough to run several partnerships a week without dropping the ball on reporting
  • Comfortable on-site, on camera, and on deadline
  • Able to report on your own work and be honest about what did and didn't land
  • Available for late nights and some weekends if needed for events
  • Willing to travel to our sites across the UK to hit event and content objectives, including overnight stays

Nice to have

  • Hospitality or food & beverage background
  • Familiarity with Rednote / Xiaohongshu
  • Eventbrite, or similar ticketing platform, experience
  • Experience handling B2B or corporate clients
  • High res photography experience
