B2B Technology PR Senior Account Executive

Love technology stories and the buzz of landing great coverage? Our client, a global B2B technology public relations agency with teams in London, the USA and Europe, is looking for a Senior Account Executive to join its thriving team and deliver practical, tactical support across client marketing communications programmes.

The role

You will own key parts of client campaigns, working alongside Account Managers and Directors to generate a consistent flow of media coverage for technology clients. Your team will rely on your proactivity, creativity, attention to detail and communication skills.

What you will do

  • Own the press office: track, research and pitch forward features, build and maintain editorial lists and trackers, and review clients' target media daily for issues, hijacks and opportunities for comment
  • Own influencer programmes, plus conference, exhibition and award schedules, making sure every opportunity is identified and pitched
  • Deliver media relations programmes: pitching stories, drafting written material, organising interviews, supporting events and photo shoots, integrating social media, distributing press releases and collating coverage
  • Write press releases, case studies, by-lined articles and story pitches
  • Assist with campaign planning and client and prospect presentations
  • Own day-to-day account administration, activity reports, dashboards and coverage and clippings reports, always delivered on time
  • Schedule meetings and calls, prepare agendas, take minutes and issue post-meeting actions
  • Support new business through networking, proposal research and presentations
  • Build relationships with journalists, analysts, bloggers, conference organisers and influencers

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
