B2C Residential Sales Executive

We are offering a salary of £30,000 per annum plus commission (£60-70K OTE), dependent upon experience.

The Role
This is a hands-on, commercially focused role for someone who understands the electrical industry and is confident dealing with customers, contractors, suppliers and project teams.
The successful candidate will combine basic electrical knowledge with sales, estimating, and business development skills.
You will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, visiting clients and sites, understanding project requirements, preparing competitive quotations and following opportunities through to successful completion.
You will also help develop long-term relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities to increase repeat business.
A Typical Day – Your Roles & Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across Essex and surrounding areas.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Generate enquiries through networking, customer relationships, referrals and proactive business development.
- Attend client meetings, site visits and tender meetings.
- Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate technical solutions.
- Prepare and present quotations and proposals.
- Follow up quotations and actively convert opportunities into secured work.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts.
- Develop long-term relationships with key clients and decision makers.

Your Expertise Are Crucial – Your Experience & Knowledge
To succeed here at Electech you will need:
- A high degree of emotional intelligence, with the ability to influence, negotiate and build strong relationships
- The charisma and confidence to communicate with all people from all backgrounds enabling you to be a great representative of our business
- A good understanding of what we do and the products we offer to both of our residential and commercial clients
- The hunger and motivation to succeed and to inspire those around you to achieve great things
- At least 2-3 years’ experience working in sales and business development
What to Expect – Recruitment Process
First Stage – 30-minute initial call via Zoom with our People Manager
Second Stage – 30-40 minute face to face meeting & presentation with one of our Founders
Final Stage – 10 minute fire-chat with our Sales Manager
