In a Nutshell:
In this role you will be responsible for owning the commercial marketing strategy and end-to-end delivery for 4Lite, with full accountability from insight, planning and briefing through to execution, optimisation, and performance evaluation. This role will drive brand growth across retail customers, installers and end users by translating sales, stock, product and retailer priorities into effective campaigns, and by directly managing the agencies responsible for delivering them.

Established in 1992, we have grown to become a global operator with bases in Warrington and Belfast and state-of-the-art showrooms in Belfast, Warrington, Madrid and Dublin, supplying to more than 26 countries. Ansell Lighting is a byword for innovation in lighting design and we have won multiple awards for our energy-efficient luminaires and industry-leading lighting control system, Octo.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
- Develop and own the annual 4Lite marketing plan, budget, campaign calendar and channel priorities.
- Build a clear understanding of retail partners, installers and end users through customer insight, sales data, reviews, competitor monitoring and campaign learning.
- Own positioning, messaging and go to market plans for product launches, seasonal campaigns and retail promotions.
- Work with retail account teams to improve product listings, digital shelf content, imagery, reviews, conversion and retailer marketing activity.
- Define the role of social media, influencers, paid media, email and content in reaching and converting the target audiences.
- Ensure activity supports commercial priorities including stock position, sales targets, retailer commitments and margin.
- Maintain the B2C section of the shared marketing calendar and coordinate dependencies with Product, Sales, Creative and Operations.
- Approve all customer-facing B2C content for accuracy, relevance, brand fit and commercial value.

AGENCY & SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT
- Select and brief the agencies required for B2C campaigns, social media, content, PR, paid media, photography and video.
- Own each brief from objective and audience through to deliverables, budget, timings, approvals and measures of success.
- Run work in progress meetings, manage feedback and prevent unnecessary rounds of amendment.
- Monitor retainer use, project spend, service levels and performance; challenge weak output and recommend changes here required.
- Ensure Ansell owns advertising accounts, data, source files, usage rights and campaign history.
COST
- Consistently secure the best value for marketing goods and services by sourcing and evaluating multiple supplier quotations.
- Assist in the effective management and monitoring of the annual marketing budget to ensure cost efficiency and alignment with business objectives.
SAFETY
- Create and maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure GDPR and privacy compliance across digital activity, particularly within email marketing and data collection strategies.
- Stay up to date with digital governance policies and platform advertising standards.
- Ensure adherence to Health and Safety Regulations at all levels through facilitating and planning training, communication, risk assessments and audits.
PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with people at all levels, ensuring regular communication with Managers, Sales and Accounts Team and support functions.

Are you right for us?
Essential
- Educated to degree level
- Strong B2C, retail, ecommerce or consumer marketing experience.
- Evidence of turning customer and commercial insight into integrated plans.
- Experience in managing agencies, budgets, briefs and campaign performance.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, retail content and conversion.
- Commercial judgement, attention to detail and confidence working with senior stakeholders.
- Strong creative skills
- Ability to multi-task managing numerous projects and personnel
- Must be comfortable managing content management and PIM systems.
- Financial planning
- In-depth knowledge of marketing functions
- Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
- Effective Presentation Skills must be able to communicate with stakeholders.
- Open minded, determined, driven and enthusiastic, team worker
- Able to operate confidently and communicate effectively at all levels, both verbally and in a written form
- A Strategic thinker who is results oriented.

Desirable
- Marketing related degree. CIM qualification
- Experience in home improvement, electrical, lighting, smart home or a retailer-led category.
- Experience of trade or consumer retailer.
- Working knowledge of CRM, paid media, analytics and influencer marketing.
