Salary: £25,249 to £28,031 Per Annum - Full Time Fixed Term until 31 July 2027

Release Date: Tuesday 25 August 2026

About The Role

The Higher Horizons+ Uni Connect Hub works with schools and colleges across Staffordshire to deliver outreach activities that support young people to explore their future education opportunities.

As our Uni Connect Hub Administrator, you’ll play an important role in keeping the Hub and its outreach programmes running smoothly. Working closely with the Hub Manager and Outreach Officers, you’ll provide high-quality administrative support across a varied programme of activity, helping to coordinate events, manage learner data and evaluation, support financial processes and prepare resources for activities in schools, colleges and on campus.

This is a varied role where no two days are quite the same. You’ll work with colleagues across the University as well as schools, colleges, external partners and our Student Ambassadors, making sure the practical details behind our outreach activity are organised, accurate and delivered effectively.

Main Responsibilities

The main responsibilities for our Uni Connect Hub Administrator will be to:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support for Higher Horizons+ outreach programmes and activities.
  • Support the coordination of events and activities delivered in schools, colleges and on the University campus, including preparing resources and providing support on the day where required.
  • Maintain accurate learner and activity records, support data collection and evaluation, and assist with basic reporting and data analysis.
  • Coordinate administrative processes relating to Student Ambassadors supporting Hub activities.
  • Support the Hub’s financial administration, including purchase orders, internal transfers and maintaining accurate records of activity and expenditure.
  • Organise meetings, bookings, documentation, resources and other practical arrangements required by the Hub.
  • Act as a point of contact for colleagues, schools, colleges, external partners and other stakeholders, responding to enquiries and building positive working relationships.
  • Support Hub communications, including promotional mailings, newsletters and information for schools and colleges.
  • Manage and prioritise a varied workload, working closely with the Hub Manager and Outreach Officers to ensure activities are well organised and delivered effectively.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
