University of Staffordshire is seeking an ambitious and innovative leader to shape and lead our admissions function, ensuring prospective students from home and international markets receive an outstanding experience from enquiry through to enrolment.
About Us
With an on-campus base of c15,000 students, the University operates in three campuses. Our new £100m Student Village and Hub is an outstanding addition to our main campus in Stoke-on-Trent; our Stafford campus specialises in healthcare related professions and our London Campus at Here East, covers digital and business profession. We have recently gained multiple awards including top 10 ranking in the NSS, Daily Mail Modern University of the Year, and University of the Year for employability from the Graduate Futures Institute.
About The Role
Reporting to the Chief Marketing and Growth Officer, you will provide strategic leadership for admissions across both Home and International markets. You'll lead a high-performing team, drive digital transformation, embed regulatory compliance, and use data and insight to continuously improve performance and conversion.

Working collaboratively with colleagues across the University, you will be responsible for delivering an accessible, high-quality and personalised admissions service that supports student recruitment ambitions and enhances the applicant journey.
About You
We're looking for someone who can bring:
- Significant experience in higher education admissions or applicant services with multiple cycles of admission experience.
- Strong applied knowledge of UK admissions regulations and compliance requirements, including UCAS, UKVI and CMA.
- Experience of leading teams, managing change and delivering service performance and improvement.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and a collaborative approach.
- The ability to use data and insight to inform strategic decision-making.
