Band 4 Administrator - Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIIP) Team

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 4 Administrator to join our friendly, supportive and forward-thinking Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIIP) Team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, conscientious and reliable individual who takes pride in delivering a high-quality administrative service and enjoys being part of a dedicated team that makes a real difference to the lives of service users and their families.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator seeking to develop their skills within a specialist mental health service while contributing to positive outcomes for both service users and colleagues.

About the Role

As a key member of the team, you will provide a comprehensive administrative and secretarial service to a busy multidisciplinary team, ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the service. The role is varied and rewarding, requiring excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage a range of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a comprehensive administrative and secretarial service to a busy multidisciplinary team.
  • Ensure the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the service.
  • Manage referral, appointment and discharge processes using the electronic patient record and calendar systems.
  • Input and maintain accurate patient information on SystmOne.
  • Produce accurate clinical correspondence.
  • Respond to inquiries by email, letter and telephone.
  • File, photocopy, sort post, scan and upload documents.
  • Order stationery and clinical supplies.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to meetings, including preparing agendas and taking accurate and timely minutes.
  • Act as the first point of contact for service users, carers, GPs, healthcare professionals and partner organisations.
  • Oversee shared team email inboxes and communication channels.
  • Maintain accurate records and produce performance and statutory reports using systems including Microsoft Excel, Power BI and SystmOne.

Working Hours

Based at Unither House, Chertsey, the post holder will work Monday to Friday, 9.00am–5.00pm, in line with service operating hours.
