About the Role

You will join a kind, collaborative, and high-performing hand therapy service providing specialist assessment and rehabilitation for patients with trauma, elective, rheumatology, and emergency presentations. Working across a diverse east London population, you will use advanced clinical reasoning, evidence-based practice, and clear communication to deliver high-quality care. As a dual-profession role, we welcome both Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists who are confident working autonomously, able to manage complex caseloads, and committed to maintaining high professional standards. Key Responsibilities

• Independently assess and treat a varied caseload of upper-limb conditions, including complex trauma, using advanced clinical reasoning and a wide range of therapeutic modalities.
• Fabricate and prescribe splints.
• Deliver patient education.
• Evaluate progress.
• Adapt treatment plans to optimise rehabilitation outcomes.
• Supervise junior staff and students.
• Contribute to service development.
• Participate in audit and quality improvement.
• Represent hand therapy within multidisciplinary meetings.
• Support operational management when required.
• Help maintain a positive, respectful, and evidence-driven team environment.
