Life as a Senior Back End Developer:

As a Senior Back End Engineer, you’ll be an integral part of our Agile Digital team, contributing to the evolution of our e-commerce platform. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the implementation of a Service-Based Architecture while upgrading and maintaining our market-leading website. Collaborating with cross-functional IT teams, you’ll ensure the business logic powering our platform is scalable, reliable, and optimised for growth.

Your Objectives:

  • Work collaboratively within a close-knit team that embraces strong values and a shared vision.
  • Lead and support the team in the development of new features and improvements for our enterprise-scale e-commerce website.
  • Assist in the transition to a modern Service-Based Architecture to enhance performance and scalability.
  • Ensure high-quality code delivery by implementing best practices, including comprehensive testing and continuous integration.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in enterprise-scale Ruby on Rails development.
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases such as MySQL.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks like RSpec.
  • A strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, and Agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Interview Process:

  • Technical Interview: A deep dive into your Ruby on Rails expertise and problem-solving capabilities. (60 Mins).
