Their solutions empower organizations to measure and optimize emissions, consumption, and spend, using cutting-edge software and data-driven insights. Minimum Requirements

  • You will be local to Manchester and travel into the office once a week.
  • You will have fluency in English.

The Opportunity

You will join their Technology & Data Sciences Teams, offering flexible, fast-paced work and the chance to collaborate with passionate visionaries. You’ll work closely with IT, Data Science, Energy Markets, Infrastructure, and Procurement teams, supporting software development and operational data processing while exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain reliable, secure, and maintainable backend services (REST APIs, integrations, internal services)
  • Work with SQL Server and MySQL databases, optimizing queries and improving schema design
  • Develop data-informed backend features: event tracking, audit logs, analytics-ready structures, and robust reporting endpoints
  • Write high-quality, well-tested code with clear documentation
  • Support monthly reporting processes, including data imports, client liaison, and issue resolution
  • Enhance observability (logging, metrics, tracing) and support incident response
  • Drive improvements in working practices and contribute to agile planning, innovation, and sprints

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
