Role Overview

We are seeking highly skilled Golang Engineers to join a fast-paced engineering team responsible for building and enhancing next-generation banking and payment platforms. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and operating scalable backend services supporting high-volume, mission-critical financial transactions.

You will work within a modern cloud-native environment, building resilient microservices and event-driven systems that support secure, real-time transaction processing across a complex banking ecosystem. The role requires strong engineering fundamentals, deep Golang expertise, and experience operating distributed systems at scale.

Working closely with Architects, Product Owners, SRE, DevOps, and Platform Engineering teams, you will contribute to the end-to-end software development lifecycle while ensuring solutions meet the highest standards of performance, security, resilience, and observability.

Key Responsibilities

Software Engineering

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Golang.
  • Build highly scalable APIs and microservices supporting banking and payment capabilities.
  • Develop reusable libraries, frameworks, and engineering standards.
  • Participate in system architecture and technical design discussions.
  • Ensure code quality through automated testing, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
