Senior Backend Engineer | Python | AI
Everyone says they're building AI. Very few are building AI that customers actually use.
A company I have partnered with are building the Bloomberg of Private Markets, helping 300+ VC and PE firms discover investment opportunities using live market data and production AI.
They're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to build the infrastructure powering their next generation of AI features.

You'll be working with:
- Python

- Agentic AI
- Production APIs
You'll be a great fit if you:
- Have 5–15 years of backend engineering experience
- Have personally built and owned production APIs
- Come from a startup or scale-up
- Already use AI coding tools like Cursor or Claude
- Want to spend 80%+ of your time writing code

What's on offer?
- 💰 £100k–£160k base
- 💰 £30k–£40k+ annual bonus
- 📈 ESOP
🏢 London (5 days in-office) or Remote UK/Europe
This is one of those rare roles where you'll work directly with the founders, own meaningful technical decisions and build AI products that customers genuinely depend on.
