One Sky Collective
One Sky Collective is a free and accessible mission-led gamified app and website empowering the imperfect majority to track and be rewarded for every small sustainable step while driving real-world climate impact.

What are we looking for?
✅ Requirements
- 3 years proficiency in Node.js, Express, or equivalent server framework
- Experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB data modeling
- Familiarity with JWT-based authentication and RBAC patterns
- Understanding of API versioning, rate limits, and testing
- Git/GitHub workflow (branches, PRs, code reviews)
- Comfort working from detailed Notion specs and endpoint contracts
- Passion for climate tech and collaborative dev environments

What will you be doing?
💼 Role Summary
As an experienced back-end developer, you'll help implement secure, scalable services for One Sky’s public website and reporting systems. This includes API development, data modeling, access control, and admin feature support.

🛠 Responsibilities
- Build and document RESTful APIs for:
- Daily impact metrics
- User action history for reporting
- Implement role-based access controls (e.g. Impactor and Sponsor)
- Integrate external services (email, CMS, analytics)
- Assist in exporting daily/weekly impact summaries via JSON/CSV
- Ensure data consistency across reporting streams
- Support Super Admin panel API endpoints (quiz editor, campaign loader, streak engine)
