Role Overview
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a Cyber Security Strategic Engineering team, building and supporting backend services, APIs, cloud platforms, and DevOps automation that enable cyber data and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services, APIs, and automation.
- Work with Python, Go, Java, or C#/.NET and apply SOLID, design patterns, testing, and code-quality practices.
- Build and operate solutions on AWS or Azure.
- Provision infrastructure using Terraform, including networking and access controls.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and pipeline-as-code.
- Manage build/deployment agents, artefacts, secrets, monitoring, and production support.
- Support Kong API Gateway, API onboarding, access management, and API security.
- Automate DevOps and change/request workflows to improve efficiency, control, and auditability.

Essential Skills

- Strong software engineering experience in Java, C#/.NET, Python, or similar.
- Hands-on AWS or Azure experience.
- Strong Terraform / Infrastructure as Code knowledge.
- Excellent DevOps and CI/CD pipeline experience.
- Knowledge of testing, SOLID, design patterns, code reviews, and refactoring.
- Understanding of cloud networking and secrets management.
- Strong awareness of security, governance, auditability, and operational excellence.
