The Role
- Develop, scale, and maintain robust backend services for public sector systems
- Take ownership of infrastructure management, including AWS provisioning and cost control
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable deployments
- Translate product requirements into technical solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues to ensure high availability
- Contribute to architectural decisions and best practices for technical excellence

What You'll Need
- Strong commercial experience developing backend services with TypeScript
- Proven hands-on expertise with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, ECS, RDS, S3, IAM)
- Solid DevOps background, including building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Practical experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code in production environments
- Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment, with monthly on-site collaboration
- Strong understanding of secure coding practices and cloud security fundamentals
