Synapri are working with an exciting Software business operating within the Investment Management space looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
As the company develop a new suite of products, you’ll have the opportunity to take the lead on new projects from the earliest stages of research and technical planning through to architecture, development and final deployment. This is a role where you can have a meaningful influence on both the technology and the direction of the products they build.

📍Location: Onsite/Hybrid in central London
💰Salary: up to £100,000 (DOE)
You should have:
- 5+ years of professional experience developing software with Python
- Strong experience with Django and modern web application development
- A good understanding of the full product development lifecycle, from discovery and planning through to deployment and ongoing improvement
- Strong software architecture and design skills, with an appreciation for writing clean, maintainable and scalable code
- Experience working across different layers of an application, with an interest in infrastructure and cloud technologies
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality software.
- A confident, positive communication style and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different disciplines.
