Delaware North UK is hiring a full-time Back of House Manager to join our team at London Stadium in Stratford, East London. As Back of House Manager, you will be leading the back-of-house areas of the stadium, implementing systems to support the hospitality and culinary teams. Responsibilities
- Lead back-of-house team members to ensure safe working practices and cleanliness pre, during, and post events, as well as conducting daily and weekly inspections
- Support with recruitment and training of team members, as well as liaising with the people team to work within budgets to book porters
- Manage the equipment budget, sourcing materials, tracking stock, and attending trade shows, building strong supplier relationships
- Attend any relevant tradeshows to ensure positive supplier relationships
- Ensure the operation complies with current health and safety, food hygiene, fire regulations, licensing laws, and trading standards, maintaining Delaware North’s policies and standards of excellence

Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience, including experience in a high-volume, logistically challenging environment
- Experience managing, guiding, and leading large teams within a high-volume, fast-paced catering or hospitality environment
- Knowledge of manual handling
- Skills in people management, training, task delegation, written and verbal communication, advanced IT, accounting skills, with experience in purchasing systems, and knowledge of suppliers
- Forklift license is beneficial
Physical Requirements
- Ability to travel to other operational locations when required

From its start as hosting the 2012 Summer Olympics, London Stadium has grown to hold a vibrant portfolio of world-class sporting events, from holding Europe’s first MLB Series, games from the IRB 2015 Rugby World Cup, to a range of Athletics events with the annual IAAF Diamond League, and hosting both the London 2017 World Athletics Championships and 2017 World Para Athletics Championships, the first location to ever hold both events in the same year.
