About The Role
We are looking for a talented and experienced Python Backend Developer to join our dynamic team at Falcon Smart IT (FalconSmartIT). This is a senior-level role designed for professionals who excel in building scalable backend systems and are adept at managing complex, high-traffic applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and maintaining microservices architectures, supporting numerous concurrent requests, and troubleshooting operational issues efficiently. As part of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing backend solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (mid-senior level) in Python backend development, with a focus on building scalable and high-performance APIs.
- Familiarity with Python API frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
- Hands-on experience with asynchronous processing in Python, message brokers, and event-driven architectures.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and container orchestration tools.
- Experience with pod management and troubleshooting in cloud-native environments.
- Good understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.
- Knowledge of Openshift or similar container platform is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve implementation issues effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python backend solutions that support high concurrency and performance requirements.
- Implement RESTful APIs and microservices to facilitate seamless integration with frontend applications and third-party services.
- Manage and monitor pod deployments, ensuring stability and optimal resource utilization in cloud environments.
- Support and troubleshoot production issues, including dead pods and request bottlenecks, to minimize downtime and maintain system reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, DevOps, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to uphold code quality standards.
- Analyze system performance and implement improvements to enhance scalability, security, and efficiency.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate best practices into development workflows.
