About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Hackajob Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining innovative features on our platform, ensuring a seamless experience for both our clients and developers. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver scalable and robust solutions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience in software development, ideally within a SaaS or platform-based environment.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, Java, or similar.
- Experience with web frameworks, APIs, and database management systems.
- Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement new features and functionalities for the Hackajob platform.
- Maintain and improve existing codebase to enhance performance, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot bugs or issues promptly, providing effective solutions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and workflows.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate innovative technologies where applicable.
- Assist in mentoring junior team members and fostering a collaborative team environment.
