About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Developer to join our dynamic team at Basekit. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications that align with our company’s strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, a passion for coding, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects, enhance user experience, and help shape the future of our web development platform.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in full-stack web development, with proficiency in languages such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and frameworks like React or Angular, is essential. Familiarity with backend technologies such as Node.js, Python, or PHP is preferred. Strong understanding of database management systems, RESTful API integration, and version control tools like Git is required. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly are also important. Prior experience working in Agile environments and knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure will be considered advantageous.

Responsibilities
As a Software Developer at Basekit, your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing new features and functionalities for our web platform
- Ensuring optimal performance and security
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and QA specialists to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Conducting thorough testing and debugging to maintain system stability
- Participating in code reviews
- Contributing to technical documentation
- Staying updated with the latest industry trends and best practices
- Planning and estimating project timelines
- Providing technical guidance to junior team members
- Continuously seeking ways to improve our development processes
