About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Hackajob Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and efficient software solutions that support our platform's growth and enhance user experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in software development, ideally with 3+ years in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with web development frameworks and technologies including React, Angular, or Vue.js.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of database systems such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
  • Excellent understanding of software development best practices, including version control, testing, and deployment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to adapt quickly to new technologies.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements for our platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing among team members.
  • Identify and troubleshoot software defects and performance issues, providing effective solutions.
  • Maintain and improve existing systems, ensuring stability, security, and scalability.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve our development processes.
  • Contribute to documentation and technical specifications to support ongoing development and maintenance efforts.
