About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer / Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining the core messaging platform that forms the backbone of our real-time infrastructure. Your expertise will contribute to designing highly scalable distributed systems, optimizing performance, and ensuring system reliability. The ideal candidate will have a passion for solving complex engineering challenges and a strong background in building event-driven architectures and messaging platforms. Working within an AI-first environment, you will leverage modern AI tools to accelerate development processes while maintaining full ownership of architecture, code quality, and technical decision-making. Qualifications
- Strong experience in backend development with Go, Node.js, or other modern server-side languages
- Proven experience in building or operating distributed systems, messaging platforms, or streaming technologies
- Deep understanding of scalability, concurrency, performance optimization, and fault-tolerant system design
- Hands-on experience with Pub / Sub messaging paradigms
- Ability to solve complex technical challenges and deliver high-quality, production-ready software
- Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Familiarity with modern AI development tools and practices
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS, cloud infrastructure, or developer platforms is highly advantageous
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable distributed systems that support real-time messaging and communication services
- Improve system performance, reliability, and fault tolerance through innovative engineering solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and deliver robust features
- Implement Pub / Sub messaging services, state synchronization, and AI communication infrastructure components
- Leverage modern AI tools to enhance development efficiency while ensuring code quality and architectural integrity
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and documentation to uphold best practices
- Support ongoing system monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization efforts
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and incorporate them into the development process as appropriate
