About The Role
We are currently seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and scaling our JavaScript-based platform. Your expertise will contribute to building robust backend services utilizing Node.js, Express, Sequelize, and AWS infrastructure. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and frontend developers to create seamless and efficient experiences for our users, particularly focusing on sellers and dealers within our ecosystem. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in an agile environment, writing clean, efficient code, and actively participating in testing, code reviews, and performance optimization initiatives. Your contributions will directly influence the scalability and reliability of our platform as it evolves to meet increasing demands.

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer, with a strong focus on JavaScript and Node.js frameworks.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API development and integration.
- Experience working with Express.js, Sequelize, and other relevant backend technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud services, particularly AWS, including EC2, S3, and Lambda.
- Knowledge of database management systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar.
- Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to tasks and challenges.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain backend features and APIs to support platform functionalities.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and designers to deliver cohesive solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Optimize application performance through caching, database tuning, and other best practices.
- Implement security best practices to safeguard user data and platform integrity.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Assist in deploying and monitoring applications on AWS infrastructure.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate innovative solutions.
