Backend Engineer - Java/Python/Node.js - AI focus
Manchester - Hybrid
6 month contract - £700-800/day umbrella
We're currently working on a range of exciting opportunities for Java/Python/Node.js Backend Engineers to join a leading bank during a large scale AI project.
You'll be involved in the entire lifecycle from design/architecture and develop scalable backend services with a strong focus on APIs, microservices and event-driven architecture. You’ll also collaborate closely with cross functional teams, including AI Engineers, Data Scientists, and Security teams to build solutions that support AI and wider enterprise initiatives.

Requirements:
- Java, Python, or Node.js experience
- Microservices-based architecture experience
- Ideally have experience with AI Agent Orchestration Platforms
- Experience with Kubernetes and Container Technologies
