About The Role
We are seeking a talented and passionate Back-End Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and refining the core technology platform that powers our remote digital health services. Your work will directly contribute to creating reliable, scalable, and efficient systems capable of supporting the expanding needs of our users. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a cloud-native platform hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), utilizing modern engineering practices and AI-driven tools to optimize development workflows. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in back-end systems and a keen interest in leveraging AI to enhance engineering processes.

- Proven experience in back-end software development or systems engineering, with demonstrable contributions to scalable platforms or systems.
- Hands-on experience working with cloud-based platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and familiarity with cloud infrastructure management.
- A strong interest in artificial intelligence, with practical examples of integrating AI tools into engineering workflows to improve efficiency and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar, and experience with modern development frameworks and tools.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of key tasks, including:
- Designing, developing, and enhancing scalable back-end services, systems, and platform capabilities to meet evolving business needs.
- Building and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and services within the Google Cloud Platform environment, ensuring high availability and security.
- Implementing AI-driven solutions and integrating modern engineering tools to streamline development processes, troubleshoot issues, and improve overall system performance.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers and front-end developers, to deliver seamless digital health solutions.
- Participating in code reviews, testing, and documentation to uphold high standards of quality and maintainability.
- Continuously exploring emerging technologies and best practices to innovate and optimize the platform's capabilities.
