About The Role
The role offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate back-end engineer to contribute to the development and evolution of a scalable digital health platform hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). As part of a dynamic team, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining the core systems that underpin remote health support services. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in back-end software or systems engineering, with proven experience in building and maintaining complex platforms. A solid understanding of cloud-based infrastructure, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), is essential. Candidates should demonstrate a practical approach to engineering challenges, with a history of selecting appropriate tools and solutions based on project needs. An active interest in artificial intelligence, coupled with hands-on experience using AI tools to enhance engineering productivity, will be highly valued. Relevant educational qualifications include a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, along with professional certifications related to cloud computing and AI technologies.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance scalable back-end services and system capabilities to support the platform’s growth and reliability.
- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure and services within the Google Cloud Platform environment, ensuring security, performance, and scalability.
- Implement modern engineering practices and leverage AI tools to streamline development workflows, automate routine tasks, and solve complex problems efficiently.
- Collaborate with product managers, front-end developers, and data teams to deliver integrated solutions that meet user needs and technical specifications.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to optimize platform stability and user experience.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices, integrating innovative solutions into the platform where appropriate.
