About The Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Backend Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in building and evolving the core technology platform that underpins our remote digital health services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Your contributions will directly impact the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our services, supporting our mission to deliver high-quality healthcare remotely. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in back-end software or systems engineering, with proven experience in developing scalable platforms or systems. A solid understanding of cloud-based infrastructure, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), is essential. Candidates should have a demonstrated interest in artificial intelligence, with practical examples of how they have utilized AI tools to enhance their engineering workflows. Excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a remote setting, and a proactive approach to learning and innovation are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable back-end services and system capabilities to support the platform’s growth and reliability.
- Build and maintain cloud-based infrastructure within Google Cloud Platform, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define technical requirements and translate them into robust solutions.
- Implement best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure code quality and maintainability.
- Leverage AI and modern engineering tools to streamline development workflows, enhance problem-solving, and improve operational efficiency.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, proactively integrating relevant innovations into the platform.
