About The Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Back-End Software and Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing, maintaining, and enhancing the core infrastructure that powers our remote digital health services. Your work will directly contribute to building reliable, scalable, and efficient backend systems hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will possess a strong engineering background, a passion for cloud technologies, and an interest in leveraging artificial intelligence to optimize development workflows. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a solid background in back-end software and systems engineering, with proven experience in designing and implementing scalable platforms. You should have hands-on experience working with cloud-based environments, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and demonstrate a flexible, technology-agnostic approach to problem-solving. A strong interest in artificial intelligence and practical experience using AI tools to enhance engineering processes are highly desirable. You should possess excellent communication skills, be a team player, and have a proactive attitude towards learning and innovation. A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable back-end services and platform capabilities to support our digital health ecosystem.
- Build, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure within Google Cloud Platform, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and translate them into reliable software solutions.
- Utilize AI and modern engineering tools to streamline development workflows, enhance problem-solving, and increase operational efficiency.
- Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and documentation to ensure maintainability and scalability of systems.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, particularly in AI and cloud computing, to continuously improve platform capabilities.
