Role Description The Backlink Builder is a full-time, on-site role based in Sydney, NSW. In this position, the team member will research and identify high-quality websites and online communities for backlink opportunities, focusing on relevance and authority.

The role also involves:

  • Collaborating with the marketing and content teams to align backlink strategies with overall SEO and brand goals
  • Monitoring performance metrics
  • Adjusting tactics to improve search visibility and referral traffic

Qualifications

  • Experience with SEO and link-building strategies, including identifying and evaluating backlink opportunities.
  • Strong online research skills to find relevant websites, communities, and directories aligned with target audiences.
  • Effective written communication skills for professional outreach emails, proposals, and relationship building.
  • Ability to use SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, Google Search Console) to analyze link profiles and track performance.
  • Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple outreach campaigns and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborative mindset to coordinate with marketing, content, and social media teams on shared goals.
  • Comfort working on-site in Sydney, NSW, and contributing to a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
  • Prior experience in digital marketing, SEO, or related fields; a relevant diploma or degree is beneficial but not mandatory.
