The Role

The Badge & Credential Specialist is responsible for creating and processing employee badges and credentials at a large manufacturing facility in Kingston, GA.

This position requires strong computer skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to learn and use various technology systems. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with computers and badge-creation technology, can accurately enter and verify information, and can provide professional customer service in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Create and process employee badges and credentials.
  • Enter and verify employee information in computer systems.
  • Operate badge-printing equipment and related technology.
  • Maintain accurate credential records and files.
  • Review information for accuracy before issuing badges.
  • Assist employees with badge-related questions and requests.
  • Process replacement badges and other credential requests.
  • Use multiple computer systems, software applications, and technology platforms.
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and credential information.
  • Follow established procedures and site security requirements.
  • Work independently while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new technology quickly.
  • Comfortable working with various computer systems, software, and electronic equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to perform repetitive data entry and computer-based tasks.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Professional communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Previous experience with badge systems, access control, data entry, or administrative work is a plus.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Ability to sit, stand, and move around the work area throughout the shift.
  • Ability to work at a computer and perform repetitive keyboard and mouse functions.
  • Ability to use badge printers, scanners, card readers, and other office technology.
  • Ability to frequently use hands and fingers for computer, printing, and badge-processing tasks.
  • Ability to occasionally lift, carry, or move light office and badge-processing materials.
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail while working in an active manufacturing environment.
