ABOUT THE ROLE
Become a BAE Systems Brand Ambassador!
We’re back with an incredible opportunity to develop your skills, build your network, and boost your employability!
This Brand Ambassador Programme is designed for students who are passionate about BAE Systems and want to enhance their personal and professional growth while positioning themselves for future opportunities at the company. As a Brand Ambassador, you’ll play a key role in promoting BAE Systems on your university campus while receiving exclusive training, networking opportunities, and earn some money along the way. If you know your campus inside out and love engaging with students, we want to hear from you!
WHAT DOES A BRAND AMBASSADOR DO?
Your role is to promote BAE Systems and its early careers opportunities to students at your university through engaging and creative initiatives, including:
- Building relationships with societies, faculties, and careers services
- Driving on-campus initiatives such as lecture shout-outs, flyer distribution, branded stalls, and career talks
- Social media promotion
- And more!
BAE SYSTEMS BRAND AMBASSADOR CAMPAIGN OBJECTIVES
- Promoting BAE Systems early careers opportunities including graduate schemes, industrial placements, internships to students (measured by number of clicks)
- Building brand presence on campus through on-campus activities (measured by number of activities)
- Building a high-quality pipeline of candidates from STEM degree backgrounds to early career talent pool (measured by number of sign-ups)
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
- £14.24 per hour plus bonuses & prizes throughout the campaign
- Flexible hours, with approximately 25 hours of work distributed from September 2026 to February 2027

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We’re after motivated, proactive, and well-connected students on campus who are excited to represent BAE Systems on campus. Ideally, you’ll be:
- Undergraduate student at university as of September 2026
- Studying a STEM discipline degree
- Active member in societies, especially those focused on Women in STEM, Engineering, or Innovation
- Natural networkers, whether you're a society leader, STEM mentor, or someone who gets things done
- Confident in creating engaging, on-brand content and delivering on-campus campaigns that highlight career opportunities in engineering and technology, while building excitement for BAE Systems
- Share fresh ideas on how BAE Systems can inspire the next generation of female engineers
- Want to gain hands-on experience with a leading employer in defence, aerospace, and cyber security

* The universities marked with a star have now been successfully filled, and we are no longer recruiting Brand Ambassadors for those universities

HOW TO APPLY
First Stage - Complete your application form below
Second Stage - If shortlisted, you’ll need to submit a 2-minute video telling us why you’d be the perfect BAE Systems Brand Ambassador. Alternatively, you may choose to complete a 15-minute interview with the Hiring Manager, Lizzie, at Higherin Academy. Please let us know if you would prefer the interview option so we can progress you to the next stage
Final Stage - Successful candidates will be offered the role and join the programme
You must be available to attend a one-day training on Thursday 27th August 2026 in Brixton, London (paid & expenses covered)
