Workshop Repair Technician!

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a practical mindset who enjoy problem-solving and working with their hands. You'll play a vital role in helping our customers and clients by assessing, repairing, and restoring bags to manufacturer-approved standards.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Workshop Repair Technician, you'll be at the heart of our repair operation, ensuring every piece of luggage is handled with care and precision. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assessing repairs: Determine authenticity and identify repair needs.
- Repairing Items: Use approved methods and genuine parts to carry out repairs.
- Quality Control: Complete documentation accurately to ensure all repairs meet the highest standards.
- Stock Management: Advise supervisors on parts that need ordering or replenishing.
- Timely Follow-ups: Keep track of repairs awaiting parts for prompt completion.
- Making Decisions: Determine whether repair or replacement is the best solution.
- Preparing for Despatch: Get repaired items ready for delivery to customers, stores, or clients.
- Support Administration: Assist with booking-in processes as needed.
- Provide Expertise: Share your technical knowledge with colleagues and management.
- Adhere to Policies: Follow all company policies, including data protection requirements.

Essential Qualifications
What We're Looking For:
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong practical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in a workshop, engineering, repair, or technical environment.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills.
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
- Familiarity with fast-paced or high-pressure environments.
