At Lola's Cupcakes, we believe great baking starts with great people. We're looking for an experienced and passionate Baker to join our production team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced bakery, take pride in producing high-quality products, and want to be part of a friendly, family-run business, we'd love to hear from you.

We invest in our people and provide excellent opportunities for career development. Many of our supervisors and managers started their careers in junior roles and progressed through our structured training and development programme.

About the Role

  • Prepare and bake a range of cakes, cupcakes and sponge products to Lola's high standards.
  • Manage your section independently, ensuring production runs efficiently, even during busy periods.
  • Monitor stock levels within your section and communicate effectively with other production teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food safety, quality and hygiene at all times.
  • Learn new products, recipes and processes as our range continues to grow.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
