Job Overview

Supporting a team of administrators within the areas of Community Paediatric and Audiology, the post holder will need to demonstrate strong leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to work calmly under pressure is essential to the role as well as showing emotional resilience. skills and character to consistently deliver high quality care and work creatively at pace with colleagues with our CYP and families at the centre.

The successful applicants will be based between County Hall, Glenfield, Leicester.

Job Description Summary (Main Duties And Responsibilities)

  • To provide comprehensive senior administrative support within the administration team to achieve effective and efficient service provision including training and induction of staff in their roles.
  • To undertake diary / ledger management
  • Communicating effectively both verbally and in writing with a wide range of professional colleagues and service users.
  • To organise, plan and prioritise own workload, and that of others, to be responsive to the changing needs of the service, utilising and maintaining electronic and hard-copy office systems to ensure the smooth-running of the service or team.
  • To deal confidentially and confidently with complex patient and staff information and to provide support and advice within the remit of the role, and escalating problems or concerns where appropriate.
