Job Overview
Health Care Support Worker within ABUHB at the Nevill Hall Hospital working within the Medicine or Surgery Division.
An exciting opportunity has become available within Aneurin Bevan University Health Board as a Health Care Support Worker to join our caring and professional nursing team.
To be eligible to apply, you must meet one of the following criteria:
- Level 3 Diploma in clinical Healthcare Support
- A recognised equivalent Level 3 healthcare qualification
To be eligible for this role please see the person specification for more details. You should provide evidence of equivalent experience and evidence work-based competency demonstrating theoretical knowledge and the ability to undertake clinical care duties relevant for the role which is gained through experience and work-based training/short courses.
Please note that this role will require you to be fully flexible so that you are able to cover all shifts that include days, nights and weekends.
Main duties of the job
We are a friendly team and welcome applications from Health Care Support Workers who possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal and who are committed to providing high standards of care for patients, their families and carers within a hospital setting. Ideally the candidate will have excellent computer skills and be enthusiastic about change management and supportive towards their colleagues.
