About the Role
Are you organised, detail-focused, and interested in data protection? Join our Information Legalisation Requests team and help ensure patients’ legal rights to their information are upheld.
We are recruiting to two Band 3 posts within our Records Management service:
- 1 x Full-Time post
- 1 x Part-Time post (20 hours per week)
These roles will support Subject Access Requests (SAR) team.
We will be running a single recruitment process, and candidates will be asked at interview to state their preference for either role. Appointments will be made based on preference, experience, and service need.
Role Details
This is a hybrid role, primarily home-based, with attendance at Trust sites required for training, meetings, and operational duties.
The post holders will support the delivery of a high-quality service by:
- Processing Information Legislation Requests (including SARs) in line with UK GDPR, Data Protection Act 2018, and Data Use and Access Act 2025 requirements
- Ensuring requests are completed within statutory deadlines and to a high standard
- Retrieving, managing, and preparing patient records for disclosure (electronic and paper-based)
- Applying redactions in line with reviewer guidance and legislation
- Maintaining accurate records, logs, and tracking systems
- Liaising with internal teams and external organisations to obtain required information
- Responding to queries from patients, relatives, staff, and third parties sensitively and professionally
- Supporting wider records management duties such as archiving, tracking, and audits
